Swimming

Published by moorehayessarah under Uncategorized

My swimming season is over now but I’m going to write a poem about it!

The cold rush of the water on your skin when you dive in
The suspense of waiting for the beeper to go off
The tightness of a swim cap squeezing your head
The imprints around your eyes from goggles
Swimming as fast as you can to win
Your legs kicking as fast as they can possibly go
Being out of breath when you climb out of the water
Not being able to feel your arms and legs when you get out
Hearing your team mates yelling “GO!” everytime you head comes up to breathe
Standing at the end of the lanes cheering my team mates on

Good Memories!!

Published by moorehayessarah under Uncategorized

This is a picture of Ice Grape, Moon Muffin, and Lamb Pie. Becca, Maranda, and I were very bored in technology class because we were in the library doing nothing so we decided to draw. We have very crazy and creative minds so we drew a water buffalo because I love water buffalos from Veggie Tales which is an amazing show! I also love hippos so we drew a hippo too so that explains the crazy awesome picture!!!

Unique United States

Published by moorehayessarah under Uncategorized

I think that we are very very lucky to be able to say what we want and wear what we want. Other countries can’t always do that and I don’t think that it’s very fair but I’m not in charge of being able to change that. I wouldn’t want to live in a place where women don’t have barely any rights.

We read an article about how Iran is getting their rights back to have a facebook. I think it’s not fair how they can just tell people that they aren’t allowed to use facebook anymore. If people want to have a facebook then I think they should be allowed to have a facebook. I don’t have one but if I wanetd to and I really liked it and then someone told me that I wasn’t allowed to have one anymore I would be pretty mad. I’m glad I live in the United States where we are so very lucky to have so many rights!

HOPE!!

Published by moorehayessarah under Uncategorized

I hope that this summer will be as fun as last summer! I hope that camp with Taylor is even more fun than last year and that we go camping even more this year! My family always goes camping a lot but I want to go camping almost the whole summer this year. I get to bring up a lot of my friends this year so I’m really excited for that and I just love to go camping at the same place every year because I know so many people up there and it’s incredibly fun!!
This Saturday I’m going to Cedar Point!!!! I’m very very excited to go it will be my third time going and this year I want to ride Top Thrill Dragster! I’m extremly nervous but at the same time very excited!
Also I hope that my friend won’t move this summer.
Those are some of the things that I’m hoping for!

Challenge #12

Published by moorehayessarah under Uncategorized

I think that this challenge has helped me branch out and communicate with other people around the world and in my class. I like how this lets you talk to other people and learn about all different cultures and what that person is like. I’ve really liked being able to talk to different people from a lot of different places.

I think blogging could become an integral part of our school because teachers could put assignments on their blog and then students could easily get in touch with their teachers and ask them questions.

I would like to take part in another assignment because I think that it is really fun writing about all the different things that are in the challenges. I would want to write about my summer and other stuff just for the fun of it! The thing I like about the challenges are that I get a chance to research the topic and find out stuff I didn’t know about before. I’ve really liked making a blog and doing all the challenges!

The School Year is Almost Over :(

Published by moorehayessarah under Uncategorized

This year has gone by very very fast for me, it’s amazing! I’m not going to miss all the school work but I am going to miss all of my friends a ton!!!!!!!!! Especially one of my friends who is moving :(
The biggest suprise this year is when I was sitting in science class and I realized that there was only 11 days of school left :(
The achievements I was most proud of are getting all A’s this year, and making a lot of new friends.
The wackiest moment I had this year was when I couldn’t stop laughing in my 6th hour class! Now this happens a lot but me and my friend Marandajust couldn’t stop laughing!! Also me and Shelbie did the hoe down throwdown in 6th hour!! It was amazing!!!!
The thing that I will miss most in 7th grade is one of my friends who is moving. I will also miss all of my great teachers.
The thing that I look forward to about 8th grade is that it is one year closer to high school which I can’t wait for!!!
Ok so in the title there is a sad face and you might be thinking that I meant to put a smiley face but I didn’t. I don’t want summer to come. You might think I am crazy and yes I am. I love summer but I also don’t want summer to come because one of my friends is moving and I am going to miss him very very very very very very much. This summer I am going to be camping almost the whole summer. My friend Taylor and I are going to a week long camp that I love!! Pretty much I want summer but I don’t!

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle!!!!

Published by moorehayessarah under Uncategorized

Recycling is very important. My family recycles bottles and cans. We also use bottles over and over again. By doing that we are recycling and saving money by not throwing them away and buying more. When I’m older I am going to recycle almost everything that I can. I am also going to start saving paper by typing up my papers and then sending it to the person. I think everyone should recycle.

National Volunteer Week!

Published by moorehayessarah under Uncategorized

National Volunteer Week is from May 11-17. This week is to celebrate people who take time out of their life to volunteer. More than 5 million Australians volunteer. They contribute more than 700 million hours of community service. I haven’t volunteered yet but when I’m older I am definatly going to volunteer. I think volunteering is awesome and people who do volunteer, I think that’s very cool. It helps out with a lot of different things and I think it’s really cool. If you haven’t volunteered for anything or don’t plan on volunteering I think that you should because it’s for a really good cause.

Camping #3!!!!!!!!

Published by moorehayessarah under Uncategorized

Yes I know here’s another post about camping, but this is the last one I promise!
This is a story about Matt, Chad, Cameron, Kaiti, Krista, Matt and Chad’s younger sister Stephanie, and I. We were out on Lake Michigan in their boat. It was very very wavy that day so the boat kept getting air born. Chad and I were sitting in the back two seats. the boat hit a really big wave and water came pouring in the back of the boat! Chad and I got soaked!! Our teeth were chattering! We were freezing!!! All my sister did was laugh! My mom was watching the boat from the beach and she said that she thought that we were all going to fly out of the boat! Luckily we didn’t!
What’s your funnest camping experience??
